Shipping to Córdoba, Argentina via Buenos Aires
Córdoba is a large inland city in central Argentina, roughly 646 km in a straight line from Buenos Aires, where A1's ocean rate ends. Your shipment travels from our Canadian warehouse to the destination CFS in Buenos Aires; Toronto is the cheapest gateway at about 35 days, with Montreal near 40 and Vancouver near 67. The tariff is USD 8 per cubic foot, and the smallest shipment costs USD 575.82.
The final leg to Córdoba usually runs by truck along National Route 9 through Rosario, booked by the consignee and paid outside A1's price, as are Argentine customs, duties and taxes. Families returning to Córdoba and university students moving home often send boxed household goods; personal effects go subject to carrier approval and need a signed packing list plus a passport copy. A1 does not collect or palletize cargo, so deliver it to the warehouse on a pallet or crate of heat-treated ISPM 15 wood. Keep the total customs value within CAD 2,000.
How a shipment to Córdoba works
Córdoba is not a destination in the carrier's tariff. The closest priced destination is Buenos Aires about 646 km (straight line) from Córdoba: the A1 price covers ocean freight from Canada to the destination warehouse (CFS) at Buenos Aires. From there the consignee collects the cargo or books the last leg to Córdoba with a local trucking company; that delivery, destination customs clearance, duties and taxes are not in the A1 price.
