Shipping to Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China with its own customs territory and one of the world's great free ports: most goods enter without duty. Its container terminals at Kwai Tsing are among the busiest in Asia.
Commercial cargo only. The carrier does not accept personal effects to Hong Kong under the current tariff. For business shipments, clearance is fast and simple, with duties only on alcohol, tobacco, hydrocarbon oil and methyl alcohol. Many Canadian companies use Hong Kong as a regional distribution hub.
Hong Kong is compact, but many buildings have small lifts and narrow access, so deliveries are usually split into small loads. The city has its own currency, the Hong Kong dollar, and English is an official language, which makes paperwork from Canada simple. For household goods, ask us about alternatives, since personal effects cannot be booked to Hong Kong under the current tariff.
