Commercial LCL shipping from Canada to Morocco

Samples, spare parts, stock for a small shop or goods for a customer abroad do not need a whole container. A1 ships commercial cargo in shared ocean containers (LCL) from Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver to Casablanca. The rate starts at USD 5 per cubic foot to Casablanca, and the carrier estimates 59–69 days in transit depending on the gateway and the city.

Casablanca is Morocco's main commercial port and the destination in the tariff; Rabat, Marrakesh and Fez are reached by road.

Commercial cargo only. Personal effects and household goods are not accepted to Morocco. The consignee must have an ICE number (Identifiant Commun de l'Entreprise) and a commercial invoice is required.

Commercial imports to Morocco are cleared through the BADR electronic system, and the importer's ICE number must appear on the documents. Casablanca is the economic capital and the natural destination for Rabat, Marrakesh and the Atlantic coast. Arabic or French translations of the invoice help speed up clearance.

Moroccan trade shipments through Casablanca. Casablanca is the single Moroccan destination in the tariff. From Toronto or Montreal the carrier estimates about 59 days, and Vancouver adds about ten more. The importer's ICE number (Identifiant Commun de l'Entreprise) is required, together with a commercial invoice, and both should be ready before you book. ISPM 15 rules apply to wooden pallets and crates. Keep the invoice value at or under CAD 2,000, leave dangerous goods out of the consignment and deliver it to our warehouse already palletized; the carrier confirms the destination charges, which are prepaid in Canada.

Because the tariff does not take household goods or personal effects to Morocco, a family sending its own things cannot use this service; Moroccan businesses receiving spare parts, samples or retail stock from Canada can. Writing the ICE number and the importer's full address on every carton, as well as on the invoice, helps the shipment move from the Casablanca terminal without delay.

  • Customs value. The customs value of the shipment may not exceed CAD 2,000.

Pallets and crates

Commercial cargo travels palletized or crated. Wood packaging must be ISPM 15 heat-treated and stamped, or the cargo can be refused at the destination. Stack the cartons squarely on the pallet, no wider than the pallet itself, and stretch-wrap and strap them; label every piece with the consignee's name and city in Morocco. You deliver the cargo, already palletized or crated, to our receiving warehouse in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver: A1 does not offer pickup and does not palletize. The warehouse measures and weighs the cargo, and the final price follows those measurements.
