Commercial LCL shipping from Canada to Macedonia
Samples, spare parts, stock for a small shop or goods for a customer abroad do not need a whole container. A1 ships commercial cargo in shared ocean containers (LCL) from Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver to Skopje. The rate starts at USD 9 per cubic foot to Skopje, and the carrier estimates 38–48 days in transit depending on the gateway and the city.
Commercial cargo only. Personal effects and household goods are not accepted. The tariff counts 1 CBM as 500 kg, adds a transit document fee, requires a commercial invoice and prepaid freight, and routes dangerous goods via Rotterdam.
Skopje is reached from the Greek port of Thessaloniki, about 230 km south, or from Adriatic ports, so cargo crosses at least one border. Commercial importers need registration with the North Macedonian customs administration. Because the tariff counts each cubic metre as 500 kg, check the weight of dense cargo such as tiles or machinery before booking.
Macedonian customs works in Macedonian; English invoices are accepted, but a translation can speed things up.
Commercial cargo to Skopje and the 500 kg rule. North Macedonia is quoted at about 38 days from Toronto or Montreal and about 48 days from Vancouver to the Skopje terminal. The tariff counts one cubic metre as 500 kg, so dense goods are charged by weight sooner than on most routes. Freight is prepaid only, a commercial invoice is required and a transit document fee applies. Household goods and personal effects are not accepted. A1 does not book dangerous goods, and every consignment must have an invoice value of no more than CAD 2,000 and ISPM 15 wood packaging.

Pallets and crates
Commercial cargo travels palletized or crated. Wood packaging must be ISPM 15 heat-treated and stamped, or the cargo can be refused at the destination. Stack the cartons squarely on the pallet, no wider than the pallet itself, and stretch-wrap and strap them; label every piece with the consignee's name and city in Macedonia. You deliver the cargo, already palletized or crated, to our receiving warehouse in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver: A1 does not offer pickup and does not palletize. The warehouse measures and weighs the cargo, and the final price follows those measurements.
