Commercial LCL shipping from Canada to Kuwait
Samples, spare parts, stock for a small shop or goods for a customer abroad do not need a whole container. A1 ships commercial cargo in shared ocean containers (LCL) from Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver to Kuwait. The rate starts at USD 25 per cubic foot to Kuwait, and the carrier estimates 75–75 days in transit depending on the gateway and the city.
Commercial cargo only. Under the current carrier tariff, no personal effects are accepted to Kuwait. Commercial imports need a Kuwaiti importer with a commercial licence; alcohol and pork products are prohibited.
Commercial shipments to Kuwait often include building materials, spare parts and equipment for the oil sector. Arabic descriptions on the commercial invoice help customs, and certificates of origin may be required for some goods. The consignee should hold a valid import licence before the cargo leaves Canada.
English is widely used in business in Kuwait, but Arabic labels may be required on some consumer goods. Summer heat in Kuwait is extreme, so protect sensitive cargo with proper packing and plan prompt collection from the port.
Kuwait applies the Gulf common customs tariff, generally 5 % of the CIF value, and the declaration is filed electronically by a licensed clearing agent on behalf of the importer.

Pallets and crates
Commercial cargo travels palletized or crated. Wood packaging must be ISPM 15 heat-treated and stamped, or the cargo can be refused at the destination. Stack the cartons squarely on the pallet, no wider than the pallet itself, and stretch-wrap and strap them; label every piece with the consignee's name and city in Kuwait. You deliver the cargo, already palletized or crated, to our receiving warehouse in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver: A1 does not offer pickup and does not palletize. The warehouse measures and weighs the cargo, and the final price follows those measurements.
